Natalie Butler is a wife, mother and the founder of Glow Up Nutrition. As a nutritionist, she specializes in sustainable weight loss for busy professionals. After losing 66lbs and regaining it, Natalie spent 10 years trying multiple fads such as diets, pills, wraps and teas. Though she could always lose 10-25lbs, the weight always came back. These consultations are designed for those who are generally healthy, need help understanding balanced nutrition, want to focus on weight loss goals or build healthier eating habits. This is not meant to cure or manage any current illness. Please consult with your primary physician if you are looking for assistance with managing an illness.
I’m vegan. Will this work for me?
Yes, this is not an elimination diet so I will not have you remove any foods. Instead, I’ll show you how to still enjoy those foods while losing weight.
I cannot exercise at this time. Will this work for me?
Yes, we are focused strictly on your eating habits and nutrition. Weight loss is mainly about what you eat so you do not have to exercise at this time. If you are under doctor’s orders, I recommend you get the consent of your physician before beginning any exercise regimen.
What happens after I book the consultation?
You’ll be taken to a page to book your consultation time and receive an email with further instructions. This email will include a link so that you can begin logging your activity, meals and mood. I recommend that you track all activity for at least 4 days so this way, I can provide a more thorough breakdown of my recommendations. We’ll hop on our call, go over my recommendations and address any questions you have.
Do I need a food scale?
Though it is helpful, I will also show you a plating method that will help you with portion sizes. You do not NEED a scale but it may be helpful.
